415 Cumberland Farms stores bought by UK-based investment group

415 Cumberland Farms stores have been bought by a UK-based investment group, the Patriot Ledger reports. Locations for this deal include Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York and Florida. This is a sale-leaseback deal, which means the buyer, Realty Income, owns the land and buildings, but leases the buildings back to the company operating the stores. That operator is EG Group, which sold the stores to Realty Income.
